August 20th 2009, governor of Jinjiang District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province,   Mr.Zhang, Jihuan led around 10 officers from the district government, the finance office of Chengdu, the finance office of Jingjiang district and the investment office of the district to visit Harvest Capital. The two sides carried out intense discussion on construction of financial center in Chengdu, investment potential for venture capital firms in Chengdu and establishment of joint private equity fund.On the ‘Second Annual Chengdu Financial Street Development Forum’, the business model of Harvest Capital, ‘equity investment + boutique investment banking’ , was highly praised and recommended by local officers and entrepreneurs. In addition, communication on the forum built up a solid basis for the meeting held today and future cooperation between Chengdu government and Harvest Capital .Chairman of Harvest Capital, Mr. Xiangqian Song made an speech on the topic of ‘How to consolidate the investment opportunities in Chengdu Province’. The two sides then made some initial consensus on the agenda of setting up a joint fund and both are confident of future cooperation.The cooperation with Jinjiang Government is a meaningful progress for Harvest Capital in terms of developing its fund investment business and also indicates improvement of business model of SCHC. Harvest Capital aims to play an important role to assist enterprises from western China by providing equity investment as well as superior investment banking business to them.
